Hi All
We require a local formula that subtracts ‘A’ –‘ B’ in a column, and allows for earlier column expansions (i.e the formula needs to be dynamic).
The column structure of the input schedule contains four dimensions; data source, accounts, time and category.
The input schedule is made up of 3 inner BPC reports, ‘000’, ‘001’ & ‘002’.
Report ‘000’ contains a column where the time member is 2015.TOTAL that can expand into base members, when users double click on that time member. This is ‘A’ in the local formula.
‘B’ value is located in report ‘001’, and is a non expanding column representing forecast total year entered against a base time member
Our local formula is located in report ‘002’ and needs to subtract ‘A’ (total year to date actuals) – ‘B’
Issue 1.– using local excel references, or using EPM Position references in the local formula does not take the expansion within report ‘000’ into account. After expansion, the local formula still refers to the old excel or EPMPosition references. This mainly effects ‘B’, as this column moves when current year to date column expands.
Issue 2 – The local formula needs to cater for changes to EPM Member Override, EG Time is referenced into the column structure via EPM Member Override,
I need some help with the following EPMTuple questions pls: EG
1/ Can EPMTuple work across reports ‘000’, ‘001 and ‘002?
2/ Will EPM Tuple update with changes to EPM Member Override.
Thank you
Glen
