that's not a rule of thumb i see in the BI4.x sizing guide and companion. strongly avoid .
don't forget, now that BIplatform is fully 64bit compliant architecture - 1 single Webi processing server can consume up to 6Gb of memory itself! (look at the thresholds/parameters in the server properties)
